Collaborated on a multi-stage Rube Goldberg machine integrating analog and digital subsystems, including a capacitive touch piano, relay-triggered strobe light, light detector, solenoid, metal detector, and Arduino-controlled electromagnet. The system used a sequence of circuit-based reactions to ultimately drop a metal ring onto a hook. This project strengthened my circuit integration, debugging, and teamwork skills while reinforcing the real-world application of classroom concepts.

Designed a countdown timer system in Verilog to simulate a NASA rocket launch sequence. The project included clock division, counter logic, and 7-segment display modules implemented on an FPGA. Developed custom modules to reduce the input clock frequency and control the countdown display in real time. Strengthened my understanding of digital design, timing logic, and hardware simulation.

Designed and implemented a vending machine system using a finite state machine (FSM) in Verilog. Developed modular components including a debounce circuit, one-shot pulse generator, and state logic to simulate coin input and product dispensing. The system ran on an FPGA and featured a timed response and user interaction through buttons and a 7-segment display. This project strengthened my understanding of sequential logic, timing control, and real-world hardware simulation.

Built a room intrusion detection system using an ultrasonic sensor, passive buzzer, keypad, and LCD display controlled by an Arduino. The system detects nearby motion, activates an alarm, and prompts the user to enter a passcode to deactivate it. LEDs and display messages indicate system status ("Active," "Enter Passcode," "Verified"). This project strengthened my circuit integration, debugging, and embedded coding skills while highlighting the practical application of microcontroller-based security systems.
